Fighter Combat International's air combat school in Mesa, Arizona USA specializes in providing the general public the opportunity of enjoying this outdoor adventure activity with real fighter pilots in real aerobatic aircraft. No flight experience is required - this is NOT an air combat simulation. If you like air combat games like Fighter Ace, Air Combat Patrol, Air to Air Combat and other air combat simulations then you'll love flying REAL air combat under the guidance of our REAL air combat fighter pilot instructors in REAL aircraft.
REALISM: Fighter Combat International operates in full compliance with the FAA standards for the Air Combat Schools of America. By Fighter Combat International's standards, these FAA guidelines are considered to be a minimum. As the only air combat school to exclusively employ real military fighter pilots all having extensive operational experience in high-performance technologically-advanced fourth generation fighter jet aircraft, we insist upon teaching modern air combat tactics, standards, training rules and techniques used by active NATO fighter forces around the world today. If you're looking to experience real air combat with real fighter pilots in the world's highest performance certified aerobatic aircraft, Fighter Combat International is the only answer.
©2006 Fighter Combat IntlYou liked the movie Top Gun? Then come be a Top Gun in this ultimate Arizona outdoor adventure activity custom designed for adventurers yearning to fly actual air combat with real fighter pilots employing modern air combat tactics. Patrol with Fighter Combat today and be a Top Gun fighter ace with the best fighter pilots in the world.
THE AIR COMBAT MISSION PLAN: On arrival at the Fighter Combat International (FCI) squadron in Mesa, Arizona, you will enter the world of air combat and air to air tactic adventure. You will be greeted by our professional staff and then introduced to your dedicated fighter pilot ground air combat instructor. After meeting the FCI team you will don your flight suit and receive your leather "Call Sign" patch to be worn for the day of activity - and Yes, that is the name you'll go by :) Then it's time for the flight briefing, where you'll engage in the fierce study of air combat tactics concepts, fighter pilot skills, air to air tactical air combat employment and flight safet
TAKE-OFF: With the air combat briefing complete - it's flight time for this adventure. After strapping into the front cockpit of the Extra 300L, preflight safety checks are completed prior to launch. Within minutes you're airborne over the Arizona desert and ready for adventure! You'll fly in close formation with your competitor at over 250 miles per hour to witness various formation positions and then split for individual "warm-up" air combat maneuvers to familiarize yourself with the air combat aircraft and how it handles. Now you're ready for action.
AIR COMBAT: We have two air to air combat mission profiles in our Mesa, Arizona USA location; the Intro to Air Combat Maneuvering and the Advanced Air Combat Mission. Regardless of your selected profile, a one-on-one battle against your opponent begins, with multiple air combat engagements. The aircraft has dual controls; you fly the aircraft under the guidance of the Fighter Combat instructor in real air combat maneuvers. You chose whether to keep it basic or go to the extreme in unlimited aerobatic combat performance. With the simulated sound of gunfire in the cockpit and smoke billowing from the enemy combat aircraft, you victory-roll away from your first successful dogfight adventure. Time for a short break, reset and then at it again! In the Advanced Air Combat Mission the last three neutral head-on engagements are scored to gain points towards the various trophies and awards - be the; TOP GUN, AERO GOD and/or the G-MONGER. Our air combat pilots make the awards ceremony a lot of fun for everyone and contributes significantly to each participants bragging rights and culminating this outdoor adventure.
THE DEBRIEFING: Back at the fighter squadron, the air combat instructors re-create the tactical mission for you and your competitor in this adventure, using the multiple-view cockpit video, in-flight notes and air to air combat results, complete with tactical "lessons learned" you can apply during your next mission at our headquarters in Mesa, Arizona. For those wanting to go beyond the advanced combat mission, Fighter Combat International offers graduates of the Squadron Wingman Program the opportunity to participate in our 3-mission Combat Ready Training Syllabus that provides you in-depth air to air combat training and combat tactics.
